1. Booking and Payment: All bookings must be made online. Payments are required in full at the time of booking.Tips for guides are appreciated but not required.​

2. Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests can be made up to 24 hours before the scheduled tour for a full refund or alternative date.

• In the rare event we need to cancel a tour, we will notify you via phone and email and issue a full refund or reschedule the tour.

3. Tour Start Time and Late Arrivals

• Please arrive promptly at the designated meeting point. We will wait up to 5 minutes for late arrivals.

• After 5 minutes, you can contact us, and we will provide the location of our next stop so you can catch up.

4. Weather Policy

• Tours proceed rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather.

• If weather conditions become severe, we will cancel the tour and issue a full refund to all participants.

5. Route Adjustments

• Tour routes may be adjusted due to safety concerns, construction, or other unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your understanding.

6. Physical Fitness and Safety

• Participants must be physically fit to walk up to 2 miles at a moderate pace.

• Please ensure you stay hydrated and wear comfortable footwear suitable for walking.

• We will use proper crossing procedures while navigating downtown, but participants are responsible for their own safety.

7. Behavior and Code of Conduct

• Children under 15 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

• Dogs are welcome on our tours, but they must be leashed and well-behaved.

• Children and pets must not disrupt the experience of other participants.

• If a child, pet, or participant is disruptive, intoxicated, or behaving inappropriately, we reserve the right to refuse service without a refund for the benefit of other guests.

8. Photography and Media Use

• We may take photos during the tour for promotional purposes. By participating, you agree to allow us to use these images. If you have concerns, please notify your guide before the tour begins.

9. Liability Waiver

• By booking and participating in a tour, you acknowledge and accept that History Walks is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, illnesses, property loss, or other negative occurrences that may happen during the tour. Participation is at your own risk.

10. General Policies

• Tipping your guide is welcome and greatly appreciated.

• Please be courteous to other participants and respect the guide's instructions throughout the tour.
